There is a first for everything!
Friday night was Sterling and I first offical date! I was so excited! It only took all day to figure out what to wear, and in total frustration I ran to the mall after work and picked up a new top! LOL. So we started off our night with dinner. He took me to this really cute thai restaurant in American Fork. The restaurant is set in an old historic home which really gave it a cozy/ romantic feel. It was the first time I had thai so Sterling helped me order something really good! I think my favorite was the fresh rolls with peanut dip! Who knew those things put together would taste so good! It was kind of hard to really talk because we were seated in a room with two other couples and it was so small that you could hear everyones conversations. But after some time we had the room all to our selfs and were able to really talk. After dinner we decided to catch the movie “Mall Cop” so we ran back to Orem and picked up some tickets. We had a little over an hour before the movie was to start so we went to Lowes to look at doors (he is in the process of remodeling his home so we are there a lot haha). After Lowes we walked around Nordstroms and then shared a desert at California Pizza. It was delicious and I was in heaven! I kept thinking to myself how wonderful it all felt and I could tell he was really excited to take me out and had put a lot of thought into it all. I suddenly realized how glad I was that we had decided to start dating! We had gotten to know each other so well before we decided started dating that it makes things so much easier. In a since we have gotten past all the small things that you ask when you are getting to know someone. I know most of his quarks as well as he knows mine. Over all it was a perfect nothing could have gone any better!
