Happy New Year!!

Its a new year! I am so excited to see what I can make of this year! New Years eve my friend and I were talking about our goals and dreams and I realized that I wanted to really focus on expanding my boundaries. I normally don’t make any new year’s resolutions but this year I decided to take two of my goals and really work on them. One is to lose 10 more pounds and the second goal is rather personal so I won’t be sharing that one. Along with my two goals I would like to try some things I have never done before ex: snowboarding and water skiing (this is the “expanding boundaries” that I was talking about). And I want to prefect some old skills that I haven’t been able to use for awhile like stain glass. I found a place here in town that provides classes. They supply the tools and some glass. I would like to get good enough that I could make a stain glass window!
Another would be to write a book. I know that takes all sorts of smarts that I really don’t have (as you can tell from my blog) but I think it would be a lot of fun. When I was little I remember writing short stories in note books for hours. I wish I would have kept those. I have some story lines that would be interesting for me to write but nothing too detailed. After I told him I wanted to write a book he shared with me that he also would like to write a book. He shared with me his story outline (which is top secret) and I can honestly say that I am looking forward to reading this book!! He has a lot of details already in mind and just needs to get it down on paper!
I would like to travel a little more. And not so much outside the states but maybe back east. When I watch TV and meet new people I wonder what it would be like to actually be there. Like the big apple, Washington DC, Missouri and Nauvoo (I plan on getting sealed in the Nauvoo temple, just need to find my Mr right;). And of course it would be awesome to travel outside the states to places like Paris, London, Tahiti, Bora Bora.
In the end I want this year to be the best I have had in years! I want to learn new things, meet new people, expand my knowledge, and at the end I hope to have a better picture of what I want and need out of life.

Hey Chelsea! I'm impressed with your new years resolutions! I haven't even really thought about it which is really sad! But I just wanted to let you know that if you wanted to come visit the big apple, I know some really fun people that live there that would let you stay with them! (hint hint!) haha
