Our Nursery

Construction to the nursery is complete!! Sterling has been working hard to finish the painting and finally this weekend we added the last touches, IE door handles, blinds, outlet covers. Now the fun begins! DECORATING!!!!

I had to have this door handle! It fits perfectly, don't you agree.

Moving from the door to the right...

Now we are slowing moving all the things we have for the nursery in. Its super exciting to have one, of the many, rooms in the house complete.

Our first Christmas

Its Christmas!! I love this time of year! We have 3 of the 6 radio stations in the car set to holiday stations (they have been set that way since before Thanksgiving), several classic Christmas movies on our Netflix list, the Christmas tree is up and lite, stockings hung (the fireplace is a work in progress-just making more room for santa) and the sugar cookies are baked waiting for loads of frosting! Sterling and I have come up with our first Christmas tradition- gingerbread houses! For one of our date/family nights we will be making gingerbread houses which we will keep as a tradition in our home for years to come! Its exciting to think we will have Lucy to join in all the fun and joy of Christmas! I have told Sterling that once all the after Christmas sales start I am going to start my 2010 Christmas shopping for Lucy!
I am so excited that we will be able to spend Christmas with my family this year and then be able to see all of Sterlings family the following week! What a blessing it is to have family!

Pictures!!!

Guess what everyone....we got our pictures last night!! There are a ton of them so I will only be posting my favs

My wonderful husband

What can I say, I have the worlds best husband! He works so hard for our family and takes such good care of Lucy and I. I can always count on him for anything. He is truly the biggest blessing in my life. I know everything he does he thinks of me and puts me first. Last night my hubby changed his extremely busy work schedule and came home early to give me this gorgeous bouquet of flowers!
Ahhhh I love you Sterling!!

Honeymoon

For our honeymoon we planned a trip to sunny California! Yes, we were married in July but we had everything planned for November including the honeymoon. We booked flights to Long Beach CA mostly because its ocean side and Sterling lived there a few years back. We spent all of Thanksgiving day soaking up the sun on the beach, doing a little shopping and had a Thanksgiving dinner at Dukes over looking the ocean. I missed not having a traditional Thanksgiving but I really enjoyed the time with my hubby!
Friday we spent the whole day at Sea World! Loads of fun as you can tell by the pictures! Afterwards we made a trip to the San Diego temple, what a gorgeous temple!I also was able to experience In n Out for the very first time, can I say very good!
Saturday Lindsay and I went shopping while the guys headed to a gun show. It was so much fun and Lindsay was a huge help as I was shopping for baby clothing. After we had shopped our little hearts out we meet up for dinner with the guys and enjoyed some pizza at BJs.
Sunday we went to church and I was able to get some nap time in (greatly needed being that I couldnt stay awake after 9 if my life depended on it!). And we were able to catch up with some good friends and see their new place. Monday we hit some book/antique stores and visited with little Max and Lindsay.

Here we are at the Beach on Thanksgiving day
A Starfish Sterling found

This is us at the San Diego temple (dont mind how tired I look)

The Sea Lion show at Sea World (it was so cute)

Sterling feeling a sting ray (I think thats what they were, wierd rubber slim feeling)

This Sea Lion came over from the other side where they were feeding him fish and floated right up to the glass window we were at! Best picture ever, it was like being in the water with him.
