Honeymoon

For our honeymoon we planned a trip to sunny California! Yes, we were married in July but we had everything planned for November including the honeymoon. We booked flights to Long Beach CA mostly because its ocean side and Sterling lived there a few years back. We spent all of Thanksgiving day soaking up the sun on the beach, doing a little shopping and had a Thanksgiving dinner at Dukes over looking the ocean. I missed not having a traditional Thanksgiving but I really enjoyed the time with my hubby!
Friday we spent the whole day at Sea World! Loads of fun as you can tell by the pictures! Afterwards we made a trip to the San Diego temple, what a gorgeous temple!I also was able to experience In n Out for the very first time, can I say very good!
Saturday Lindsay and I went shopping while the guys headed to a gun show. It was so much fun and Lindsay was a huge help as I was shopping for baby clothing. After we had shopped our little hearts out we meet up for dinner with the guys and enjoyed some pizza at BJs.
Sunday we went to church and I was able to get some nap time in (greatly needed being that I couldnt stay awake after 9 if my life depended on it!). And we were able to catch up with some good friends and see their new place. Monday we hit some book/antique stores and visited with little Max and Lindsay.

Here we are at the Beach on Thanksgiving day
A Starfish Sterling found

This is us at the San Diego temple (dont mind how tired I look)

The Sea Lion show at Sea World (it was so cute)

Sterling feeling a sting ray (I think thats what they were, wierd rubber slim feeling)

This Sea Lion came over from the other side where they were feeding him fish and floated right up to the glass window we were at! Best picture ever, it was like being in the water with him.

Crochet hats for Lucy

In my search to learn new things (mainly in the craft area) I have taught myself how to crochet. Its kind of like knitting but instead of two needles you only work with one crochet hook. I love learning new things especially when I can purchase all my materials for half price (I'm a huge coupon person). Below are two hats that I finished over the weekend. The white one has whats called a bubble brim, the cream colored on is just a half double crochet hat. I didn't make the bows, those are a gift from my sister in law Lindsey! Tell me what you think, I want to know if they are good enough to sell on KSL or esty.

This is one of two hats that I made for Max. I plan on making some more but much bigger for my brothers.

Patience

So as most of you know Sterling and I had our dinner reception last Saturday. What an event it was! I could not have been more happy with how everything turned out. The food was exceptional, the flowers perfect and everything went so smooth. I was just told by our rather awesome photographer that our pictures will be ready sometime next weekend. I am dieing to see how they turned out! So patience, and I will post pictures as soon as I have them.
