Construction begins on the Nursery!!
Yesterday we official broke ground (or walls)on the nursery! We have a local contractor working on this project for us and on the rest of the house when we get to that point! Here are some before pictures of the room. Its a rather small room so the pictures cant get a full shot of each side.
Here is the rather small but wide closet...
One side will have rods to hang clothing and the other side will have storage shelving and drawers!! Super excited about this custom closet!
This is the before picture of our window frames...YES- everything is getting an overhaul!
Right side of the room. The floors will stay the same(the only thing not changing besides the light fixture!)

Cross Stiching Bib
A couple of weeks ago I received a coupon for 50% off one regular priced item at Joann Fabric. So I did a little searching around the store and came across this cross stiching pattern for a bib! It was the only cute/baby thing I could find and have been looking for something to make for Lucy. I think my next project will be to make those cute crochet baby beanie hats or a bunch of bows and hair clips!
Ill post a picture of what it looks like when I am finished!

A dresser for Lucy
Sterling and I have been on the hunt for a dresser/changing table for Lucys nursery. Can I just say its hard to find anything under a $100 with any character! I had found a local couple who restores old furniture who was willing to sale one for me for $90 once it was restored. BUT last Saturday Sterling came upon this dresser at a garage sale in Orem. I fell in love at first sight! It needs some work but for $15 you cant beat a dresser with all the character that I wanted for her nursery! Not to mention its just the right size for the room and to be a changing table! I am sure this will be a staple for Lucys bedroom for years to come! I will post pictures as soon as we get the drawers fixed and painted!

Sterling has been busy!
On the west side of the house we have a pine tree and a dead tree. Couldn't tell you what it was because it was so dead! A couple of weeks ago Sterling started to cut the tree down starting with the branches and then moving in and down. The cool part of all of this, was that he did it all with a hand power saw and a regular hand saw! Pretty cool! I am really looking forward to getting other things in the yard down like a garden and grass.
Half way into the tree...
Just the stump left...
