Sisters!

This weekend my sister and her husband made the trek to Utah! I was SO excited when she called me Saturday morning and said that they were on their way down! They were able to go to the BYU bookstore (Chad’s favorite place) and then we hung out at the mall for some much needed shopping. After that we ate out at Iggys and caught up! We had SO much fun that we lost track of time and didn’t get to bed till 4am on Sunday! Sterling and I took them for a quick tour of the Sleepy Ridge club house and drove around looking at houses (hint hint I REALLY want them to move down!) before they had to take off back to Boise. Thanks you guys for coming down and spending the weekend with us! We had a blast!!

Rainbow

Is it April or June??? This past week has been cool and rainy, which makes it feel like it April. So last night when I was walking out of the library back to Sterling's place there was the biggest rainbow I have seen! It was so bright and colorful! The first picture was taken in the drive way of Sterling's place and the second in the parking lot of the Orem Library. Lucky today is bright and sunny just in time for Orem fest (which is basically in Sterling's front yard!). I will have pictures of that posted later! He called me this morning with a count down to when we will officially be on the zipper and gravitaton! lol (6 hours and 3min).

Gardening

Today for lunch I took the time to pick some roses from the far corner in the backyard. There are three roses bushes back there that are more or less being taken over by weeds, so I though it would be nice to enjoy them in the house! I am also planning on transplanting some flowers sent to Sterling from his grandmothers funeral, that will look just perfect on the front porch!
Recently I have acquired a pair of gardening gloves and will hopefully find time this weekend to pull the weeds encroaching on the sidewalks and front yard. Funny what a pair of gardening gloves and a "want to be" green thumb can do!
